Susie Dennis DTC

I am a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) Diploma Teacher Trainer as well as BWY 500 registered yoga teacher. I have been teaching a long time now and first began teaching yoga in Ilkley in 2014.

Following this have qualified in Yoga for Pregnancy, Sitram Yoga, Womb Yoga, Yoga Nidra. As well as Completed Forrest Yoga (Yoga Alliance RYT 200) and Structural Yoga Therapy Diploma

The classes I teach are challenging yet nourishing. Based on the premise that Yoga is a fierce medicine. The the science behind mindful release is something that we can all learn and adapt to our everyday lives.

I’m Roisin. You will have fun my classes, feel part of a community and achieve more than you ever thought you could! I have been practicing yoga on and off since I was 12 and really took to a regular practice during my GCSE’s then again at University. I am 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I am a Chartered Surveyor during the week and run the studio with my mum Susie. I am Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor and looking forward to experimenting on the Pilates reformer in 2024!

Josie Cooper Qualified Forrest Yoga Teacher

In 2012 I  began practising Hot Yoga, with the goal to improve my strength and flexibility to complement my pole fitness classes. I have completed the British Wheel of Yoga Foundation Training in 2014. Following this, I have completed my 200-hour Forrest Yoga foundation teaching qualification with Ana Forrest in 2016. My students can expect to explore their strengths and work on improving their focus, with emphasis on breathing deeply.

Lucy Edlin (Nancy’s sister)

During my time in Bali I gained my 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher status. Whilst overseas I gained knowledge and experience teaching Yoga and Pilates. After, I opened YogaBarre which I ran for over 7 years with Nancy. More recently, I have adopted Yin Yoga & more meditation into my practice and qualified as a 100 Hour Yin & Meditation Yoga Teacher. I enjoy sharing Vedic Meditation with my students. My classes offer variety and accomplishment, I look forward to guiding you through a meditation soon!

Nancy Dixon ( Lucy’s Sister)

I am a Registered 200 Hour Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga Teacher. I share my passion of Hatha Flow, YogaLates and BootyBarre with students. My Journey to opening YogaBarre with Lucy started with my Pilates Mat Level 2 teacher training. My classes focus on integrity of the posture as well as connecting the body and mind. I hope you enjoy the creativity of my classes.

  I began practicing yoga 22 years ago and started teaching in 2007 after completing my teacher training accredited with British Wheel of Yoga. I am a Yoga Therapist with a 600 hour Diploma Certificate. Following this I have specialised in Restorative and Prenatal Yoga.

I first joined a Body & Brain holistic centre in 2004 as a way to manage my own stress from work, personal bereavements and poor sleep. I started feeling much better and a year later I started an apprenticeship at the centre and grew from there.

 I teach stretching, Qi Gong, relaxation, stress, release, meditation, breathing techniques and numerous other modalities. I am a qualified Sports massage and Holistic massage therapist with over 5 years of experience. My aim is to help improve my clients mobility by restoring range of movement, increase personal performance and help prevent injuries.

Leiko Miura

I qualified with Alan Herdman Pilates as a Pilates Instructor in 2000.
Prior to qualifying as a Pilates Instructor, I was a professional ballet dancer with the Birmingham Royal Ballet for 10 years and started Apparatus Pilates for my rehabilitation as well as my daily routine of body maintenance during my dancing career. Following my retirement from dance, I went to London to retrain to be a Pilates Instructor.
My main focus is on technique, precision and adaptation of movements to suit individual needs and goals.
In addition, I have HSD (Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders) and having experienced it myself I have very good understanding of the needs of adaptation in exercises for people who struggle with these conditions.
